Meet The Board

The NFCNS Board works hard (and has some fun) ensuring the school functions throughout the school year. Our school only runs with the help of volunteer parents, all of whom dedicate their time to work with our fantastic staff on a wide range of development and planning activities. Our Board has many opportunities for parents to get involved. Your level of involvement is up to you, and all are welcome to join. In addition to having the opportunity to help shape your child’s education, Board members in good standing enjoy the benefit of priority class registration.

Get Involved

Volunteer to be a Room Parent. Room Parents help coordinate class parties, teacher gifts and keep families connected. It is a fun job that runs through the school year. Our teachers and VPs communicate through the year and help you accomplish your tasks.

Attend or volunteer at school fundraisers. School fundraisers aren’t just about raising funds, they are also about raising friends. Volunteering at a school fundraiser is a great way to help out without a long-term commitment and attending a school fundraiser is a great way to have a blast!

Volunteer to be on the General Board. General Board members take on small tasks throughout the school year. General Board positions include managing our Amazon Wishlist or sitting on a committee. There are many ways to participate in this role!

There are lots of ways to get involved at NFCNS, big and small, and they are all essential to keeping our nursery school running. If you would like to get involved or learn more please reach out to Sarah at board.president@nfncs.org.
