Confidential Financial Assistance is available for qualifying families to cover up to 20% of the tuition cost per child. Below is a copy of our 2023-2024 Enrollment Contract.  Families will receive a copy of this upon registration but we wanted to provide a copy here for families to read prior to enrollment.  

NFCNS 2023- 2024 Enrollment Contract Agreement

NFCNS reserves the right to make scheduling changes due to enrollment needs. At the beginning of the year and on special occasions, the class time may be shortened to allow for age-appropriate transitions.  

APPLICATION FEE: I wish to enroll my child at the Northfield Community Nursery School and I am including the required non-refundable $100 application fee and $400 deposit. A separate enrollment application, fee and deposit must be completed for each child to be enrolled. I understand that the application fee and deposit are non-refundable and non-transferable and will only be returned to me if my child was placed on a waiting list and is not offered a place in a program or if a class was canceled by NFCNS. 

 TUITION PAYMENT: I understand that Northfield Community Nursery School is to be a nine-month program from September through May and that tuition fees are non-refundable. There are two tuition payment plan options.  Both options require the application fee and deposit to be paid at the time of registration.  The first option is the 3 installment plan will be paid March 1, 2023, May 1, 2023 and July 1, 2023.  The second option is to pay your balance in full on June 1, 2023.   A late payment fee of $50 on the 15th day after the tuition due date will be assessed. Nonpayment of tuition by August 1st, 2023 may result in the exclusion of my child from Northfield Community Nursery School

SOCIAL MEDIA: Registering your child grants NFCNS permission to use their photo in school promotional materials, which include posts to the school social media accounts.  

 WITHDRAWAL: Should I decide to withdraw my child from Northfield Community Nursery School, I must notify the Director in writing on or before April 30th, 2023 or I will be liable for the full year’s tuition. If I withdraw my child after May 1, 2023 a refund of any unused tuition will be considered only if the corresponding class is full and the resulting vacancy is filled.  If the Director determines there is a need for a child to withdraw, official documentation will be required if the family seeks a refund.  

Families registering AFTER May 1, 2023.  Should I decide to withdraw my child from Northfield Community Nursery School, I must notify the Director in writing within 30 days of registering or before the first day of school, whichever comes first.  Otherwise I will be liable for the full year’s tuition.  If I withdraw my child after school begins or more than 30 days after registering (whichever comes first), a refund of any unused tuition will be considered only if the corresponding class is full and the resulting vacancy is filled. 

COVID-19 POLICY: A full copy of the COVID-19 Policy is available upon request.

CANCELLATION: Northfield Community Nursery School reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In the event of such a cancellation, a full refund, including application fee, will be made. If eligible, application fee will be refunded by September 1, 2023.

 SCHOOL REGISTRATION FORMS: The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and NFCNS require specific forms for each child prior to the start of school, which include but are not limited to, a physical examination and birth certificate. I agree to comply with and provide all required documents. 

I wish to enroll my child in Northfield Community Nursery School in the program noted on this application/contract. I agree to pay the appropriate non-refundable application fee and deposit. I understand that this contract becomes a binding agreement only when accepted by the Northfield Community Nursery School. 

How does registration work?

Registration is 100% online through Curacubby.  Current families (families that currently have a student enrolled at NFCNS) and members of Northfield Community Church are able to register starting January 10th at 9am. Families must complete their registration by January 13th at 6pm. (The application will be unavailable from 1/13 6pm until 1/15 9am).  Families will be emailed a link, it will also appear in their Curacubby Parent Portal.  Members of Northfield Community Church who are not current families should email VP Enrollment Katie Lutz for information: enrollment@nfcns.org

New Families may register beginning January 15th at 9am.  A link will be posted on our website once enrollment is live. 

All registrations are processed on a first come, first served basis. 

Can I visit the school before the registration date?

What if a class is full when I get to registration?

Any class that has reached capacity will be closed and a waitlist option will be available on the application.  For waitlist questions please contact VP Enrollment, Katie Lutz at enrollment@nfcns.org

What if I change my mind after enrolling?

At the time of registration, you will be required to sign a copy of the NFCNS Enrollment Contract which outlines the NFCNS withdrawal and refund policy.  A full refund, minus the application fee, is available for withdrawals before March 30, 2022. All withdrawal inquiries should be sent to the NFCNS Director, director@nfcns.org 

Does NFCNS offer any type of financial assistance?
